| Octomore |
| Octmore distillery stands a few minute drive to the west from the entrance
of Port Charlotte. George Montgomery & Co. started it in 1816. After
that, the Montgomery succeeded. It was closed in 1852. Now, part of the
building from those days remains and they are used as classic holiday cottage.
From the Octmore Hill, you can enjoy the fabulous view of Lochindaal Distillery
and over the bay therefs a city of Bowmore under your eyes. |
